Sani Resort is one of the world’s leading family beach resorts, located within a bay on Greece’s Kassandra Peninsula. Set across 1,000 acres, there are varied landscapes to take in – verdant forests, thriving wetlands and seven pristine beaches envelope the site.

The resort sees five unique hotels grouped together; Sani BeachSani ClubSani DunesPorto Sani and Sani Asterias. Each spot offers a different experience while benefiting from the same impeccable standard of service. Sani Beach is the largest of the properties, surrounded by 7km of beach and calm, crystalline water. Modern private garden rooms and the largest heated lagoon-style swimming pool in Greece are found at Sani Dunes, while Sani Asterias is the place to stay for a more intimate stay; long days here are best spent soaking in the sunshine at the exclusively serviced beach.

Following the second phase of a £30 million renovation last year, Porto Sani’s new complex of suites, pools and gardens make it one of the most in-demand stays in Greece right now. Stylish new spaces consider the needs of families seeking respite, and three new swimming pools mean more space to splash about on sunny days. Porto Sani has doubled in size since last season, with a new complex and suites designed for young families. Guests can choose the baby and family equipment required and tailor their suite to their needs while travelling light.

Elsewhere, Sani Club is set on a cliff within the forest, surrounded by lush nature and nestled in ancient olive groves. The hotel offers a private escape in nature with amazing views over the Aegean Sea and Mount Olympus.

There’s no shortage of options at mealtimes – Sani Resort has 13 bars and 27 restaurants, and all of the restaurants offer baby and children's menus designed by Annabel Karmel, the world-renowned childhood food expert. At Porto Sani, there is an exclusive children's buffet as well, designed only for kids by Annabel.

Restaurants cover Thai-Asian fusion, authentic Greek, Spanish, classic Italian, and Peruvian among many others. Highlights include sunset dinners at Cabana, a seafront restaurant inspired by the Côte d'Azur, and long lunches at Beach House, where simple yet innovative Mediterranean food is washed down with chilled rosé wine.

Cabana and Beach House are just two of the 27 restaurants that participate in Sani Resort’s dine around programme. The initiative is designed for half board and full board guests, offering the option to savour flavours from across the globe, within the comfort of the resort grounds. Tailored set menus are available at 11 restaurants, while à la carte menus can be enjoyed at any of the restaurants, in which case the meal allowance is deducted from the final bill.

Curated experiences are a memorable part of any Sani Resort stay. Go back to basics with an explorative wander along 20km of forest trails, or utilise the in-resort facilities and expertise available; from afternoons navigating Tree Top Adventure courses to early morning yoga and meditation sessions on the beach. State-of-the-art fitness equipment is free to use in gym spaces, and personal trainers are available if tailor-made classes and programmes are desired. Elsewhere, The Bear Grylls Survival Academy appeals to adventures little and large, while kids can practise their footwork at the Chelsea FC Football Academy. Consisting of eight clay courts and offering one-to-one packages, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre is, quite possibly, the best place to rekindle a love of the sport.

An ever-evolving hospitality haven, Sani Resort is welcoming lots of new offerings and initiatives for the 2023 season. An exciting new collaboration with Stephanie Le Quellec (of two-Michelin-starred Restaurant La Scène in Paris) is leading the culinary front, inviting guests to try new concepts and flavours at Sani Asterias’s restaurant, Over Water. Porto Sani also has two new dining spaces for guests to choose from – Greek al-fresco hideout Ella and Latin American terrace restaurant Lima, inspired by the vibrant culture of Peru. Elsewhere, the new Porto Sani Spa Suite is the resort’s latest go-to for indulgent Anne Semonin treatments, with inclusive options available on the special junior spa menu.

Offering an even wider choice of food options is Sani Gourmet. This sees chefs at the helm of global Michelin-starred restaurants visit Sani Resort throughout the season to hold special culinary weekends. Carefully curated suppers are paired with fine wines and best enjoyed in front of the shimmering sea.
