Chef's World Series: Rémy Martin at Apricity

Our Chef’s World Series returns with an exclusive evening with Rémy Martin & Chantelle Nicholson at London’s finest new opening Apricity

Rémy Martin is one of the oldest and best Cognac producers thanks to one fundamental element – the earth. The story started in the early 18th century when a young winegrower in Cognac (the eponymous Rémy Martin) began selling liquor under his own name. Soon, King Louis XV granted him the rare right to plant new vines in recognition of his excellence. Today, Rémy Martin is known as a spoiling drink of choice for many – but its impressive sustainability ethos and ability to pair with and enhance food is still being discovered.

For this one-off supper club event, New Zealand-born chef Chantelle Nicholson (formerly of Tredwells, which received a Green Michelin Star as a nod toward her sustainable-focussed cooking) will be opening the doors of her newly launched solo venture, Apricity. She will give guests an insight into her hyper-seasonal, zero-waste approach to cooking with a menu that’s a celebration of sustainable produce from small-scale farmers and locally foraged ingredients…
