Dreaming of a long-awaited family holiday or reunion with faraway friends? Condé Nast Traveller has teamed up with The Thinking Traveller to offer one lucky winner and their chosen guests the chance to spend a week in this exceptional Sicilian villa.

Rocca delle Tre Contrade sits on Sicily's east coast and offers staggering views of Mount Etna's craggy peaks and lush foliage on one side and the glittering Ionian Sea on the other. With grounds of bright lemon trees and vibrant fruit orchards, a sparkling infinity pool and a full-size tennis court, this country idyll is the ideal spot to rediscover a slower pace of life. Whether sipping the first espresso of the morning on the pretty terraces or practising your backstroke, this is a home that invites total relaxation.

Guests will have exclusive use of the villa and all its amenities for a week, with four spoiling master bedrooms for a maximum of eight adults and two charming attic rooms for up to four little ones. The staff, including maids, a housekeeper and a Sicilian cook will make sure that you won't have to lift a finger.

During their stay, guests will also be treated to two hands-on cookery classes in the large purpose-built kitchen. Under the chef's instruction, they'll learn how to make delicious local classics using the freshest of ingredients. The gift of a personalised apron and recipe book ensure recipes can be recreated at home, allowing for the taste of Sicilian sunshine no matter the season. And if you wish to arrange Think Experiences and excursions such as wine tastings, sessions with personal trainers, massages, boat trips or even helicopter tours at an additional fee during your stay, you need only ask.

Inside, antique furnishings and original features pay homage to the villa’s origins as the home of mid-19th century nobles, while contemporary artworks and careful renovations add a chic freshness. It's the kind of property that Thinking Traveller specialises in finding; a true gem in the Mediterranean, close to toasted-sand beaches and buzzy villages but utterly peaceful in its serene seclusion. A characterful villa full of charm, it's sure to become a spot you return to year after year.
